A schoolgirl died after falling from a building in Chattogram

A schoolgirl named Munam Sama Tahmin (16) died after falling from the roof of a multi-storied building in Chandanpura area under Chawkbazar police station of Chittagong city.

On Monday (January 29) morning, he fell from the roof of a 10-storey building called ‘Neptune Tower’ in Chandanpura West Street and died. She was a ninth standard student of City Government Girls High School in North Nalapara area.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chowkbazar Police Station Mohammad Wali Uddin Akbar said that the police recovered the body of the schoolgirl after falling from the roof of the ten-storey building. The body has been sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for post-mortem. The OC said that initially there is no complaint of the family in this incident. He said that there was no CCTV footage.
Haider Ali, the father of the slain schoolgirl, said that he went to his workplace in Agrabad at around 9 am on Monday. Daughter Tahmin also rented a car from him while going to school. He received information about the girl falling from the building around 10 am.
