Distribution of winter clothes by Education Minister among helpless people in Chittagong

Yesterday, winter clothes were distributed among 1000 poor and needy people at Chawkbazar ward councilor office of Chittagong city. Education Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury was present as the chief guest. Besides, Chawkbazar Ward Councilor Noor Mostafa Tinu, Reserved Ward Councilor Rumki Sen Gupta and other leaders and workers of Metropolitan Awami League and affiliated organizations were present.
The minister said that severe winter, thick fog, cold Konkan air all together the poor people are living in extreme hardship. We should stand next to these poor and cold people according to our ability. In spite of the global financial crisis, Sheikh Hasina’s government has provided various kinds of facilities thinking about the poor people. The government is distributing blankets and warm clothes across the country so that people do not suffer in winter. As part of this program, we are distributing winter clothes to the needy people here today.
The minister also said that you must remember the contribution of the government. The current government can bring the country to the peak of development. To realize the Prime Minister’s dream of Smart Bangladesh, we all have to become smart citizens. Only then will it be possible to build the golden bangla of Bangabandhu’s dream.
