At the opening ceremony of TCB product sale program in Chittagong, Commerce State Minister Ahsanul Islam Titu said, there will be some dishonest businessmen who work for personal interests, who want to do business by capitalizing on people’s misery, we declare a strong stand against those scammers.
The Prime Minister and I will request the same to the administration that no one, no businessmen, no syndicate should get the opportunity to manipulate the daily essentials in any way. We have to be careful. And immediate action should be taken.
The minister said these things at the opening ceremony of TCB product sale program in Ward No. 30 area adjacent to Hasni Oil Mill in Sadarghat area of Chittagong city on Thursday (February 15).
TCB Chairman, Director General of Consumer Rights, Members of Parliament, Councilors and all TCB dealers of Chittagong were present at the inauguration ceremony.
First of all the TCB product sales activities started with M/s Sabur & Brothers of dealer MA Sabur.
The State Minister also said, I want to assure the people about one thing, the Honorable Prime Minister formed the Minister on the 11th after being elected in the 12th National Parliament Election on the 7th and in the first meeting of the Ministers, he instructed us that the price of goods should be within the reach of the people, especially the common working people.Somehow, unscrupulous traders are trying to prevent artificial food shortages from driving up commodity prices. I request the traders to be a little generous and stand by the common people in this month of Ramadan. Then the suffering of the common people will be removed to some extent
