Three permanent members of Chittagong Press Club were awarded Ekushey Padak-2024 by Chittagong City Corporation and a warm reception was arranged. The reception was held at the PHP VIP Lounge on Thursday (February 29 at noon) on the initiative of the Chittagong Press Club.

The honorees are Jaseem Chowdhury Sabuj, executive member of the Press Club Management Committee, Rusho Mahmud, Editor of Daily Suprabhat Bangladesh and Zakir Hossain Lulu, Sports Journalist of Daily Ittefaq.
Among them, Jasim Chowdhury Sabuj was awarded Ekushey Padak by Chittagong City Corporation in recognition of his special contribution in journalism. Chittagong City Corporation awarded Ekushey Padak to Russo Mahmud for his special contribution to the upliftment of the newspaper industry and Zakir Hossain Lulu for his special contribution to sports.
Journalists from various print, electronic and online media along with permanent and temporary members of the Press Club were present on the occasion.
