The National Moon Sighting Committee will hold a meeting today at 6:30 pm (after Maghrib prayers) to determine the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.
The meeting will be held at the conference room of Islamic Foundation’s Baitul Mukarram office in the capital, said a press release.
Minister for Religious Affairs Md Faridul Haque Khan will preside over the meeting.
It should be noted that the moon of Ramadan was seen yesterday in the Middle East including Saudi Arabia! Today is the first day of Ramadan in those countries.
