The moon of Eid-ul-Fitr was not seen, Eid is Thursday in Bangladesh

Tuesday (April 9) at 6:30 pm in the meeting room of the Islamic Foundation, President of the National Moon Sighting Committee and Minister of Religion. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Faridul Haque Khan.
In the meeting, the date of Eid-ul-Fitr celebration was decided by reviewing the news of the sighting of the moon in the month of Shawwal in 1445 Hijri. Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival of Muslims, is celebrated on the 1st of Shawwal after a month of Ramadan fasting.
As the moon of the month of Shawwal is not seen in the sky today, the 30 days of the month of Ramadan will be completed tomorrow on Wednesday. In that case Eid will be celebrated on Thursday (April 11).
Addressing a press briefing following the meeting, State Minister for Religious Affairs Md Faridul Huq Khan said that the moon of the month of Shawaal of Hijri 1445 was not seen in the skies of Bangladesh according to the information received from all the district administration, head office, divisional and district offices of the Islamic Foundation, Metereological Department and SPARRSO. The 30th day of Ramadan will fall on Wednesday (April 10). The Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in the country on Thursday (April 11), the first day of the month of Shawaal.
Meanwhile, many countries including Saudi Arabia will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr tomorrow (April 10).
Also, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in many parts of Bangladesh, including 60 villages of Chittagong, tomorrow Wednesday (April 10) along with Saudi Arabia.
