Inauguration of new branch of Epic Healthcare in Chittagong

The first and only lab in Chittagong recognized by the World Health Organization has been inaugurated in the new branch of Epic Healthcare. It is the third branch of Epic Healthcare
Chittagong City Corporation Mayor Bir Muktijodha Rezaul Karim Chowdhury and FBCCI President Mahbubul Alam inaugurated this new branch in front of the east gate of Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
Chowkbazar Ward Councilor Noor Mostafa Tinu, Women Ward Councilor Rumki Sen Gupta, Epic Healthcare Chairman Engineer SM Lokman Kabir, Managing Director Engineer SM Abu Sufian, Sales and Marketing Executive Director TM Hannan, Business Development Director Jasim Uddin were present among others. Also present were Pachlaish Residential Area Welfare Association general secretary Abu Saeed Salim, executive member Nezam Uddin, Nazrul Azad and others.

The first branch of Epic Healthcare is opposite the main gate of Chittagong Medical College Hospital and the second branch is located in Andarkilla. It has achieved ISO 15189 accreditation certificate twice consecutively as the first and only lab in Chittagong as an international recognition of quality in healthcare management and technical practices.
During the inauguration, City Mayor Rezaul Karim Chowdhury said, ‘We have to ensure an environment where the doctors of our country can heal the patients by providing quality services, we have to increase the research opportunities. Along with this, diagnosis requires modern diagnostic facilities, for which Epic Healthcare is making relentless efforts.
FBCCI president Mahbubul Alam said, “I was really surprised to see the similarity of the diagnostic report of Bangkok with the report of Epic.” Since then I do health check-ups for myself and all my family from Epic. I want Epic Healthcare to lead the private health sector in Chittagong.
