Actor Aliul Haque Rumi has passed away (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun). He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the capital on Monday (April 22).
Oliul Haque Rumi was suffering from colon cancer for a long time. He recently returned home from Chennai, India after receiving medical treatment. The actor was undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital after returning to the country.
Actor Ziaul Apurba confirmed Rumi’s death on his verified Facebook page. Several other actors and producers have given this message on Facebook.
Rumi has spent more than three decades in acting. He acted in numerous dramas and movies during this long journey. He has impressed the audience with his acting skills. His presence on the screen gave extra joy to the audience.
Rumi was born in Barguna. His father was a brave freedom fighter Azizul Haque. Mother Hamida Haque. Rumi was the youngest among three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife and two children.
