Salatul Istiska (special prayer) was offered in Chittagong to pray for rain

Salatul Istiska (special prayer) has been offered in Chittagong to pray for rain to bring relief to people affected by the severe heat wave.On Thursday (April 25) at 10:30 a.m., Shaikhul Hadis Allama Kazi Moinuddin Ashrafi led prayers in the ground of Jamiatul Falah Mosque in the city.
After the prayer, Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat General Secretary Pir Tariqat Allama Syed Masih Uddaula led the prayers.
Maulana Achiur Rahman, former principal of Jamia Ahmadiyya Sunni Madrasah, Pear Mohammad, Chairman of Gauchia Committee, Noor Md Al Qaderi, Abdus Samad spoke at this time.
Besides, after the prayer, the mosque’s Khatib Khatib Syed Abu Taleb Mohammad Alauddin Al Qaderi gave a sermon and prayers to the worshippers.
At the end of the prayer, prayers are offered asking for freedom from rain and unbearable heat and for the mercy of Almighty Allah.
After performing two rakat prayers in a peaceful environment, hundreds of Muslims who participated in Istiska prayers prayed to Allah.
