BNP-Jamaat creates mayhem using students’ movement: Hasan

Foreign Minister and Awami League Joint General Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud today said BNP-Jamaat terrorists wrecked havoc in the country capitalizing on the move of the quota protestors of not waiting till the court verdict and the mayhem surpassed the medieval barbarism.
“With an evil motive, miscreants created mayhem in the country and carried out different unethical activities including vandalism and arson using the students’ movement which superseded the medieval barbarism,” he said.
The foreign minister was addressing as the chief guest a human-chain formed by Alems and Olamas in front of the Jatiya Press Club (JPC) here, said a press release.
Noting plotters and those who created chaos will be brought to book, the minister said every sabotage incident will be investigated as “We have footage too”.
Everyone of those who are involved with killing, vandalism and arson attack will be found out to bring them to book, he added.
Religious Affairs Minister Md Faridul Haque Khan spoke on the occasion as the special guest with Bangladesh United Islami Party Chairman Mawlana Md Ismail in the chair.
Bangladesh United Islami Party Secretary General Mawlana Shahadat Hossain and Mawlana Mostafa Chowdhury, Mufti Abdullah and Hafez Mawlana Abdullah also spoke.
