Mayor of Chattogram City Corporation Rezaul Karim Chowdhury said domestic and foreign evil forces have carried out atrocities across the country during recent quota reform movement.
Rezaul Karim Chowdhury made this comment while exchanging views with the leaders of Chattogram district committee of the Swdinata Schithchsak Parishad (Swachip) at its Tiger Pass office here today.
Congratulating the Swachip leaders for giving quick treatment to the injured in the attack by the saboteurs in the name of quota movement, the mayor said the students went back home after realizing the conspiracy of the anti-independence activists but the saboteurs did not stop it.
He urged the Swachip leaders to work unitedly to stop the evil forces against the independence.
Swachip district President Dr. Salim Akhter Chowdhury, its Vice President Dr. Rafiqul Mawla, General Secretary Dr. Ariful Amin, Chattogram Medical College unit Swachip President Dr Rabiul Karim and its General Secretary Dr. Rizyon Rehan among others addressed the function.
