Actress Nusrat Faria shown arrested in a case filed at a police station in the capital on Sunday night.
Following her interrogation, the police shown her accused in a case filed at Bhatara Police Station, confirmed Dhaka Metropolitan Additional Police Commissioner (Crime and Operations) SN Md Nazrul Islam.
He also said Nusrat will be produced before a court on Monday and they will seek for remand.
Earlier, the actress was barred to go to Thailand and detained from a flight of Bangladesh Biman Airlines. She was handed over to police first then taken to DB custody where she was interrogated.
Speculation has been spread out that Nusrat had been funding the then ruling party Awami League, who were trying to suppress the July Movement.
