More than 1.8 million students are eagerly awaiting for the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations, while parents, teachers, and well-wishers remain anxious about the outcome.

But the uncertainty has intensified as the results have not been published within the expected timeframe.

However, sources at the Ministry of Education have indicated that the wait is unlikely to be much longer. The education boards are expected to publish the SSC and equivalent examination results within this month.

Although the exact date has not yet been finalised, officials from the education boards said they are working to complete the result preparation process between 27 and 28 July. Meanwhile, the Education Ministry sources said July 30 is likely to be set as the official date for the released of the SSC results.
