The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has increased the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for August, setting the retail price of a 12kg cylinder at Tk 1,598, up from Tk 1,528 in July.

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) on Sunday announced the revised LPG prices for August.

Under the new pricing, the retail price of a 12kg LPG cylinder has been fixed at Tk 1,598, marking an increase of Tk 70 from the previous month’s price of Tk 1,528.

The revised prices came into effect following the announcement made by the energy regulator on Sunday (August 2).
