Pakistan High Commissioner Imran Haider met State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir on Monday and discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation between Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Haider congratulated Kobir on taking charge as the State Minister for Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, the High Commissioner briefed the State Minister on the progress of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various areas, including education, trade, health, culture, people-to-people exchanges and connectivity.

The two sides explored avenues for further deepening bilateral ties and exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.

The meeting comes as the two countries continue cooperation across a range of sectors, with the discussions covering both existing areas of engagement and possible avenues for stronger bilateral relations.
