The Bangladesh Police Service Association (BPSA) has announced its full 151-member Central Executive Committee, according to a notification issued by Police Headquarters on Wednesday.
The full committee was published following the Association’s Annual General Meeting held on May 13, when a new executive committee was elected unanimously.
Under the new leadership, the then Criminal Investigation Department (CID) chief and current Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner, Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, was elected President, while Dhaka District Superintendent of Police Shamima Parvin was elected General Secretary.
The newly announced committee comprises the President and General Secretary, along with 10 Vice-Presidents, seven Joint General Secretaries, one Organising Secretary, six Joint Organising Secretaries, one Treasurer, one Joint Treasurer, one Office Secretary, one Joint Office Secretary, one Legal Affairs Secretary, and members holding other organisational positions, completing a 151-member Central Executive Committee.
Police Headquarters said the committee has been formed to strengthen the organisational activities of the Bangladesh Police Service Association and enhance the welfare and professional interests of its members.
