The police recovered the body of a businessman from a godown in Halishahar Bashundhara residential area of Chittagong city.
On Friday (June 14) at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, the locals found the body on road number 3 of Bashundhara residential area. After informing the police station, the police reached the spot and recovered the body.
The name of the deceased businessman is Abu Motaleb. He is a resident of Comilla Chauddagram upazila. He was a resident of Halishor Jahanara Mansion. This has been confirmed by SI Md Saiful Islam of Halishahar police station.
He said, we got the news at 3 o’clock and went to rescue the body. The body was recovered and sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
