The engine and two coaches of the Eid special train bound for Cox’s Bazar derailed at Dulahazara station.
The incident took place on Wednesday (April 24) around 10 am at Eidgaon Dullahazara station.
Cox’s Bazar Iconic Railway Station Master Golam Rabbani confirmed this.
The station master said that the Eid special train, which left Chittagong at 7 am for Cox’s Bazar, got derailed while entering Dulahazara station. The engine and two coaches were derailed. However, no casualties were reported in the incident. Rescue operations are ongoing.
