Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) director and Cricket Operations Committee chairman Nazmul Abedeen Fahim has confirmed that left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman will be available for almost the entire Indian Premier League (IPL), missing only a few days to represent Bangladesh in the crucial ODI series against New Zealand.
“He will get the opportunity to play almost the entire IPL,” Fahim said.
He added that Bangladesh have an important international commitment in the middle of the tournament and the BCB may not release the left-arm pacer for eight to ten days during that period.
“There is an important series for us in between, during which we may not release him for eight to ten days. During the New Zealand tour, we will keep him for the ODI series,” Fahim concluded.
