A Bangladeshi expatriate, Abdur Rauf Molla, was killed in a road accident in the Mangaf area of Kuwait.
The incident occurred on Tuesday (August 11) around 10:00 PM in front of the local fire service station.
Abdur Rauf worked as a cleaner for the Al-Tuwaik Company. He hailed from Rajapur Union under Mohammadpur Police Station in Magura district.
The victim’s son-in-law, Monirul Islam, said Abdur Rauf was returning home from work on Tuesday night. A speeding vehicle struck him, causing critical injuries. He later succumbed to his injuries.
His body is currently being held at the morgue of Sobhan Hospital. Legal procedures are underway to repatriate his remains to Bangladesh.
