The Chittagong district administration has provided assistance to the families affected by the terrible fire in Tekpara and Yakub Nagar of Firingibazar Ward of Chittagong city.
Today at noon, Deputy Commissioner Abul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman visited the accident site and distributed Tk 2,000 cash and 20 kg rice as assistance to each affected family. The Deputy Commissioner handed over a set of new books and Tk 10,000 in cash to an HSC examinee (female) after hearing the plea of ​​burning books in the fire incident.
50,000 taka kept for the surgery of Arpita Das, who was sick due to the fire incident, has been burnt to ashes – the Deputy Commissioner rushed to hear the request of mother Sugandha Das. At that time, he handed over Tk 50,000 in cash to Sugandha Das for the treatment of her daughter Arpita. At the same time, he assured to take initiative regarding Arpita’s treatment.
While visiting the fire accident site, the Deputy Commissioner said that mother Sugandha Das had saved 50 thousand taka for the surgery of her daughter who was undergoing treatment at Bandar Hospital. But that money was burnt in the fire. After seeing the news in the media, we gave Tk 50,000 to this mother for her daughter’s treatment on behalf of the Prime Minister.
