Shakib Khan’s movie ‘Toofan’ has stormed the theaters of the country since the first day of its release on Eid. The film received a response from the audience across the country. The film is playing in more than 120 theaters across the country including Dhaka. The film has been making records one after another since its release. Because, after 4 days of release, ‘Tufaan’ is running house full in theaters for 5 days. The hall owners have increased the exhibition by leaps and bounds as the demand of visitors increases. As a result, among so many records, the audience’s interest is now in the income of ‘Tufan’.
Although ‘Toofan’ authorities have not yet given any official information about the income of the movie. Because, in the context of Bangladesh, it is still difficult to know the income of the newly released movies and the audience demand. Since there are box offices in other countries, accurate and precise information about it is available quickly. But that is not possible here. Shahriar Shakeel, the producer of the movie told the media about a theater in this regard. He said, ‘Actually, you have to earn money from movies manually. It takes time to calculate. I have only one account now. In other words, the cross sale of Tk 1 crore 20 lakh in the first two and a half days at Cineplex. This has never happened to any movie in the last 20 years of Cineplex history.
