Islamic speaker Maulana Lutfar Rahman has passed away (innalillahi wainna ilahi rajiun). He breathed his last at a hospital in the capital on Sunday (March 3) around 3 pm.

Earlier on Wednesday (February 14) Maulana Lutfar Rahman felt pain around 9:30 am. He was immediately taken to Laxmipur Sadar Hospital. From there, after the initial treatment, he was sent to Dhaka for advanced treatment. Later, Professor Dr. Ibn Sina Hospital in the capital. Abdul Hai was kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) under the supervision of Dr. The doctor on duty at the hospital said that he had a brain stroke.
In personal life, Maulana Lutfar Rahman is the father of 5 daughters and 2 sons. During his career, he served as the Principal of Rajkhali Aliya Madrasa with great reputation
